I’ve culled down on what I read or listen to. Going over and over what the liar in chief and his minions are doing can send me into a spiral of hopelessness and despair. Just enough info to keep informed. Heather Cox Richardson is my prime source and I get NYT news bites and a couple of other sources.
I concentrate on being the best I can be in my own circle of influence (which grows smaller as I age — I just turned 90 — and let things drop away). I just quit Facebook. My way of resisting one of the chief oligarchs, Mark Zuckerberg.
I continue to cultivate my relationship with the Divinity in which the big picture exists. The Universe is under control. This next 4 years is a tiny blip in the larger scene.
All this rolled together helps me stay sane, and patiently stable. Not much else to offer right now.

Roger! I have been meaning to reach out to you and Diane, inspired by noting that this past Hanukkah was the 20th anniversary of our trip to Israel! Margie Coles and I just got together this past Shabbat after not seeing each other since pre-covid 🙂 Happy 90th birthday to you! And glad to hear you’ve dropped FB – I am following soon. I never use it but want to collect some folks’ contact info before I close it up. Very well wishes and big hugs to you, and thank you for this glimpse of how you are staying sane.
