When he came down the golden escalator and called all immigrants from Mexico rapists and thieves — That should have been enough

When he disparaged our war heroes — That should have been enough

When he called on Russia to help him win the 2016 election — That should have been enough

When he refused to divest from his international business empire after assuming the first presidency — That should have been enough

When he separated families at the U.S.-Mexico border — That should have been enough

When he fired whistleblowers and truth tellers — That should have been enough

When he demanded personal loyalty rather than adherence to the Constitution — That should have been enough

When he obstructed the Mueller investigation — That should have been enough

When he pressured the Ukrainian government to help his reelection campaign by investigating the Bidens with no basis — That should have been enough

When he incited an insurrection — That should have been enough

When he was impeached twice — That should have been enough

When he subverted the 2020 election — That should have been enough

When he was twice convicted of felony crimes, including rape — That should have been enough

But none of it was enough.  Even though this list could easily have been doubled and still not fully capture Trump’s immorality, corruption, and greed, a majority of those voting in the 2024 election did not find it enough. A result that still shatters my soul.

But we are here now, just a mere year into the second term, and his abuses have become even more devastating. Indeed, it is hard to imagine the world that we and our descendants will inhabit if he or any of his henchmen are allowed to serve out the remainder of this term.

He shut down USAID, already resulting in the death of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children — Inhumane

He is abandoning our global allies who have stood with us since the aftermath of WWII and instead coddles dictators and authoritarians — Horrendous

He is enriching himself and his family by billions, robbing the American people of our wealth — Unacceptable

He is not only a convicted rapist, but likely a serial pedophile — Disgusting

He is physically destroying our nation’s capital so that he can remake it in his image — Egregious

He is terrorizing our cities with a modern-day Gestapo, kidnapping community members off the street, if they aren’t murdered first — Intolerable

He houses the kidnapped in substandard conditions with grossly inadequate access to food, water, restrooms, and medical care — Unbearable

He imprisons innocent immigrant men, women, and children with no semblance of due process, clearly not focusing on finding the hardened immigrant criminals that he ran his campaigns of lies on — Insupportable

He posts memes showing clearly what we should have always known: he is a despicable racist — Inexcusable

He will imprison us all since we are either immigrants, or Democrats, or perceived enemies, or Californians, or Minnesotans, or Never Trumpers, or simply believers in our Constitution. That might be enough, but then it will be too late.

I am so ready for the American people to scream as one: We’re as mad as hell and we’re not going to take this anymore!

We can and we will stop this madness.
The American people will demand it.
We will grow in such numbers that we can’t be repelled.
We will shout and blow whistles and march and persist and protect our neighbors, and do it unified as one immense resistance.

Let’s show our strength on March 28th. It’s time.
